Yesung Birthday Project: picture thread, (Delivered on September 4th, 2009: SUKIRA)

On October 15, 2009 in Korean time, I sent a cyworld gift to Yesung. Its not the first time I have sent him a gift. Everyone knows the boys never respond. What we had happen with Kyuhyun was a rare experience. But I felt I had to try and find out something about the scrapbook, to confirm Leeteuk gave it to him or that he liked it, or just anything. With the help of rocket I wrote up a message to send him. It roughly translated to:
Oppa, please read ^^;
Sorry for bothering you, but I was wondering if you received our gift for you safely? SJ-WORLD.NET got for you a handmade scrapbook and alot of work was put into it, so I just wanted to know that you got it ^^ If you did, did you like it? I really hope so!
Sorry for bothering you again! Good luck with the continuation of your musical, you're doing so amazing.

I sent the message, expecting no response but knowing I had to try. SJ-WORLD was lucky enough to achieve more confirmation when he responded about an hour later.


Some of you might say all he said was "^^" but if you read Jongwoon's cyworld, you know he's a man of few words lol. To get this confirmation of SJ-WORLD.NET and our gift is beyond lucky. I like to think that we can wholeheartedly say that he enjoyed the scrapbook.

Firstly, Happy Birthday! We hope you're celebrating this special day with your loved ones and it’s the best it can be.

You may have seen us around, but just in case you haven't, we'll tell you who we are. We are SJ-WORLD.NET, an international forum dedicated to bringing E.L.F. from all around the world together to celebrate the love we share for Super Junior. Before your birthday, we have managed to bring over 14,000 E.L.F. to SJ-WORLD from almost 100 countries.

This year has been a very successful year for you, hasn't it? We were able to see you go from such little activity and recognition to debuting a solo song, releasing a duet, having a successful third album as a group, having many wonderful guest spots on shows and radio and even your own show! Also, after learning you will be in a musical as well, we couldn't be more excited for you. Every time we can see your smiling face and hear your wonderful voice, we, as your E.L.F. and Clouds, can feel nothing but pride.

Inside you'll find numerous gifts that we picked for you. The main gift is a wooden musical jewelry box that plays Canon in D by Pachelbel. We also got for you a vest, shirt, hat and an engraved necklace. This necklace was made specifically for you and is personalised with the meaning of your beloved name Yesung in English, "Art Like Voice". ♥

The last gift we have for you is a collaborated effort from our members. We chose 15 songs that made us think of our love for you as fans. They are in English, Korean, Chinese, Japanese, Malay, Vietnamese, Indonesian, Thai, Tagalog, Spanish, Italian, French and Russian. This is only a small portion of all the languages spoken in our forum, but we couldn't include them all otherwise it would have been too large! ^-^ Our forum members were each given one line from a song, which they used to make signs or other creative displays. They then took photos, which were arranged in order to form each song and placed in hand-made book for you to have. We included Korean translations for each song so you can understand the lyrics and have also included a CD with each song in the order they are placed in the book. So, in this book there are 15 songs with over 300 SJ-World members featured. There were many other members that wanted to participate, but we couldn't let the book get too big or it wouldn't close! However, they are there in spirit and we hope this project can also be considered a representation of the thousands of fans you have on SJ-World.

We sincerely hope you enjoy all the gifts we chose, although they are only small expressions of the love we have for you. There is no way we could truly express that love fully, but we want you to have the best birthday ever and remember that E.L.F. and Clouds worldwide will be here with you for many years to come.
